Do you feel extremely tired at work but at the end of the day still have trouble falling asleep? Maybe you need to take a deserved break and get away from all that daily stress. And what better way to distance yourself from the noisy city environment and recharge your batteries than go camping? Just picture it. Only you and the vast, soothing Nature. So serene, and so quiet – the ideal setting for a good night's sleep. However, like most people, you'll probably find it hard to get used to sleeping out in the open. No worries though. With the following equipment, you'll feel like you're staying at a 5-star hotel

Inflatable Bedding

A proper night's rest is essential for mustering up the energy to discover nature's wonders and enjoy fun outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. Unfortunately, the cold hard ground can hinder the quality of sleep. But oh, what difference can inflatable bedding make! Inflatable air beds for camping are designed to offer you the same amount of comfort and support a standard mattress would. Plus, they put a nice layer of insulation between you and the hard, cold ground. The fact that they are inflatable, means that you can adjust the firmness of the bed to your exact liking. Many of these beds feature a built-in foot pump to make inflation easy and a screw valve for quick deflation.

A Sleeping Bag

When your camping at a mountain or a hill, the night can get significantly colder. In that case, a thermal sleeping bag may be the best way to keep cosy warm and prevent hypothermia. Make sure to pay attention to its temperature rating as sleeping bags are designed for different weather conditions. It's recommended that you consider the lowest possible temperature you'll experience on the trip and then subtract 10. For instance, if it's estimated to be 5 degrees Celsius, a sleeping bag with a rating of -5 can be the most reliable way to stay warm.

Keep the Pests Away

Of course, when you're out in nature, it's normal to expect to be swarmed by mosquitoes and other insects and critters. And if you've ever been kept wide awake by a single mosquito flying around in your bedroom, imagine what's expecting you in the wild. Plus, nobody wants to come home with a bite or a tick stuck on his skin, or in the worst case – a snake bite. With that being said, it's recommended to use some kind of pest repellent. Make sure to know exactly what kind of pests are native to the location you plan to camp and buy a suitable repellent. When you arrive at your campsite, spray a ring of repellent around the area. Additionally, you may spray or rub a repellent on your skin when hiking around tall bushes.
